Whilst I am usually an easy-going sort of person, there is a definate structure of command in the guild. It all hinges on peoples titles. There are two types of title. There are those that are rankings given to denote either a male of female charactor and also show the experience. The second type of title denotes a position in the chain of command.
High Knight/Shield Maiden are basically players charactors that have reached level 40.
Knight/Sage Maiden basically a player charactor lower than level 40.
Here is how it works:
Lord Commander is the rank/title given to the Guild Leader (also known as "he-who-must-be-obeyed")
Constable is an honorary title handed out by me and it denotes anyone who is of high enough rank to be able to step in and deputise for me should I not be available. So in effect anyone with this title is like an "assistant guild leader".
High Knight/Shield Maiden any male/female charactor that has reached level 40.
Knigh/Sage Maiden any male/femal charactor lower than level 40.
We expect members to behave in a hamonious and friendly manner and most of the time they do. Do not be mistaken though, should someone behave in a way that I do not find acceptable (or I hear complaints about someones behaviour) the matter will be dealt with. If you have a grievance I would ask that you come to me directly. The correct way to do this is a private (whisper) conversation. I can assure all members that if I do my job correctly you may not even be aware that there ARE any problems!
I hearby promise all members that anything disclosed to me in a private chat will remain between me and whoever spoke to me. I will never disclose the result of private conversations to any person who is not directly connected to the matter being dealt with.
Some of the longer serving members of the guild will be aware that I can rule with an iron bar should the need arise. Most members will appreciate the warm and friendly guild chat. I will not tollerate arguing or argumentative people in guild chat. If something happens in my absence, I expect my constables to sort it out quietly and quickly by use of private whispering to the concerned parties.
Anyone who disrupts guild chat or upsets other members will be talked to in private and should they find that the situation cannot be resolved will be given the opportunity to leave the guild or will be ejected from the guild.
